There’s been a change in the schedule for paving a section of 8th Avenue as part of the Egg Harbor Road construction project near the so called Hardees corner in Sturgeon Bay. Last week, we reported that a lightning strike at the asphalt plant would mean asphalt would be laid early this week. Now comes word from City Engineer Tony Depies that the paving work to be completed won’t begin until Thursday. Egg Harbor Road has been paved & is open to through traffic.
