The Door County Sheriff’s Department has released the identity of a 39-year old Town of Sevastopol man whose lifeless body was found at his home Wednesday evening. Sheriff Terry Vogel says officers were sent to the home shortly before 6:30PM in connection with the report of a man who was not breathing. When they arrived, they found that Gregory Broeckel had died. In an attempt to determine a cause of death, an autopsy was conducted Thursday in Green Bay. Sheriff Vogel says the investigation to determine the cause of death is ongoing, but there are no indications that the community is in any danger.
