The Door County Economic Development Corporation has begun the nomination period for 4 business awards leading up to the presentation of those awards at their annual meeting in April. From now until 5 PM Friday, February 23rd, you can submit your nominations for the Range Lights Award for Emerging Business of the Year, the Light Keeper Award for Woman, Minority, or Veteran-Owned Business of the Year, or the Lighthouse Award for Established Business of the Year.
New this year is the Door County Youth Apprentice of the Year award. For more information on the individual awards, nomination forms, and submission details, you can go online to doorcountybusiness.com.
Executive Director Michelle Lawrie says she and the board are looking forward to highlighting the great local business nominees and winners as they will also recognize students in the youth apprenticeship program.
