The Kewaunee girls basketball team jumped out to a double digit lead early as they remain undefeated, beating Algoma Thursday night, 67-38. The Storm (9-0 Packerland / 16-0 overall) scored the first five points and built their lead to 16-6 early in the opening half. Kewaunee was up 22 at halftime and then outscored Algoma by seven the rest of the way. Jade Kroll scored 19 points to lead the Storm. Summer Walechka added 17 points while Gabby Stangel finished with 12 points and Lexie Hanrahan had 10 points. Ryley Zimmerman scored 14 points to lead Algoma (7-3 / 10-7), who lost for just the second time in their last ten games.
