The Sturgeon Bay boys lost Wednesday afternoon to Waupun at the Kress Events Center, 54-33. Waupun (6-4) took their first lead with 7:24 to play in the opening half and then outscored Sturgeon Bay (4-5) 17-9 to take a 31-21 lead at halftime. The Warriors scored the first seven points of the second half to put the game away. Garrett UIberg scored 16 points to lead Sturgeon Bay, who has lost four straight. Aiken Hawkinson finished with 14 points for Waupun while Zeke Ewerdt and Logan Prall each added 12 points.
Tuesday:
Sturgeon Bay led 39-31 early in the second half but could not hold off Shawano as the Clippers lost to the Hawks, 67-62. Calvin Richard scored 24 points for Sturgeon Bay. Jackson Starr added 14 points and Garrett Ulberg finished with 12 points.
