The 2023-2024 boys basketball season began in Wisconsin Tuesday and Sturgeon Bay beat Chilton in a non-conference contest, 68-58. Down 57-53 with five and a half minutes to play, the Clippers would outscore the Tigers 15-1 the rest of the way. Sturgeon Bay was led in scoring by Jackson Starr who finished with 15 points. Danny Lodl scored 14 points, Calvin Richard added 13 and Garrett Ulberg finished with 11 points as Zach Goblisch was victorious in his debut as Sturgeon Bay’s head coach. Ben Willett scored 18 points to lead Chilton while Bennett Woelfel added 11 and Ryan Pierquet finished with 10 points.
