The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a WIND CHILL ADVISORY which includes Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc and Brown Counties. The advisory will be in effect until 12 PM Wednesday (2/25/14).
The combination of sub-zero temperatures and west winds will create hazardous conditions for anyone outside tonight or tomorrow morning. Wind chills 20 to 25 below zero are expected. Wind chill indices this low could lead to frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Wind chills are expected to moderate this afternoon and evening then plunge again late tonight and Thursday morning. Another wind chill advisory will likely be posted for this time frame.
