Packers Finally Back At Lambeau

After three straight road games, the Green Bay Packers (4-3) will host the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-5) Sunday.  The Packers went 2-1 with wins at Houston and Saint Louis and a loss at Indianapolis.  The Packers will go for a third straight win against a Jaguars franchise that they have not played since 2008. In fact, this is just the fifth overall meeting between the two teams and the second time game in the series at Lambeau Filed.  Head coach Mike McCarthy said its always difficult game planning for a team that the Packers don’t face regularly…

The one player on the Packers roster who is familiar with the Jaguars is center Jeff Saturday.  In his 13 years with Indianpolis, Saturday faced Jacksonville 21 times, including twice a year from 2002 through 2011…

The Packers enter Sunday’s game with five starters out with injuries.  Receiver Greg Jennings, fullback John Kuhn, safety Charles Woodson, corner Sam Shields and linebacker Nick Perry are all listed as out on the current injury report.  Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was asked if this season is similar to 2010 when the Packers won the Super Bowl, despite having 15 players on injured reserve…

The Packers and Jaguars have split their four previous meetings.  The Packers lost the most recent meeting with the Jaguars, falling at Jacksonville 20-16 back in 2008.

The Packers have won 21 of their last 25 regular-season games.  Green Bay has the best record in the NFL during that stretch.

Donald Driver will play his 200th game with the Packers on Sunday.  He joins Brett Favre (255) as the only players to play in 200 games with the Packers…
