Packers Family Night A Success

The Green Bay Packers held their annual Family Night scrimmage Friday at Lambeau Field.  A sell-out crowd watched the Packers run nearly 50, full-contact plays and a handful of special teams plays.  Quarterback Aaron Rodgers led the first-team offense on two scoring drives.  He completed four passes including a 37-yard touchdown strike to receiver Greg Jennings.  Rodgers enjoyed the Family Night atmosphere…

Friday night was the first time the Packers rookies came out of the tunnel at Lambeau Field.  The team’s 2012 first round draft pick, USC linebacker Nick Perry, was amazed that more than 55 thousand showed up for a scrimmage…

Earlier in the day Friday, the Packers announced that they had signed punter Tim Masthay to a contract extension.  The deal keeps Masthay in Green Bay for an additional four years.  Masthay was more than pleased with the news…

According to reports, Masthay’s extension is worth nearly five and a half million dollars.
