Packers Enter Draft With Eight Picks

The 78th annual NFL Player Selection Meeting or NFL Draft will begin with the first round tonight.  The Kansas City Chiefs have the first overall selection and will officially be on the clock at 7 PM.  Barring a trade, the Green Bay Packers have the 26th pick in the first round.  It is the first of eight selections that the Packers have in the seven round draft.  General Manager Ted Thompson on what he hopes to accomplish over the next three days…

The first round of the draft is tonight.  The second and third rounds will take place Friday night.  The draft wraps up Saturday with rounds four through seven.

Here are the Packers eight picks in the 2013 draft:
First round – 26th overall
Second round – 55th overall
Third round – 88th overall
Fourth round – 122nd overall
Fifth round – 159th overall and 167 overall
Sixth round – 193rd overall
Seventh round – 232nd overall
