Packers Day Two Picks

With their second round pick (53rd overall)in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers took Fresno State receiver Davante Adams (6’0, 212). With the first of their two third round picks (85th overall) the Packers went back to the defense and selected Southern Mississippi tackle Khyri Thornton (6’3, 304).  Thornton appeared in 50 college games including 28 starts.  His senior season he recorded 39 tackles, including six and a half for loss.  He was named second-team All-Conference USA after his senior season… Defensive line coach Mike Trgovac…
