Packers Are NFC North Champions

The Green Bay Packers (10-4) locked up their second straight NFC North championship Sunday, as they beat the Chicago Bears (8-6), 21-13 at Soldier Field.  The Packers have won eight of its last nine, they have beaten the Bears six straight times and they extended their franchise-record winning streak against the NFC North to 12 games.  All of that and Green Bay will host at least one NFL playoff game this postseason. The Packers will play their final regular-season home game this Sunday when they welcome the Tennessee Titans to Lambeau Field.  Kickoff is at Noon.

Notes:
After Sunday’s loss, the Bears advantage in the all-time series with the Packers is 92-88-6.

The Packers have now won back-to-back NFC North titles for the first time since the team won three consecutive division championships in 2002, 2003, 2004.

Mason Crosby’s  tough season continues.  The Packers kicker was 0-for-2 on field goal attempts, missing wide right from 43 yards and hitting the left upright on a 42-yard try.  Crosby was going to enjoy the win and the division championship before worrying about his day…
