The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a WIND ADVISORY, which is in effect until 7am Tuesday, for Door County
West winds of 15 – 30mph will gradually increase and shift to the northwest at 25 – 35mph with gusts around 45mph Monday evening, and then continue overnight. The strongest winds will be along the bay and near Deaths Door. The strong winds will then gradually diminish late Monday night into Tuesday morning.
Those driving high profile vehicles should be prepared for strong winds and drive with extra caution, especially on north to south oriented roads.
The National Weather Service in Green Bay has also issued a GALE WARNING, which is in effect until 10am Tuesday, for the waters off the entire shore of Northeast Wisconsin.
West winds at 30 – 35kts late Monday evening, becoming northwest Tuesday. Gale force gusts of 40 – 45kts are expected into Tuesday morning, with the strongest winds over the northern half of Lake Michigan.
Waves building to 3 – 5ft.
