The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a BLIZZARD WARNING, which will be in effect until 9am Tuesday, for the counties of Door, Kewaunee, Brown, Manitowoc & Bacon.
Snow will begin to fall starting at noon today and continue until 9am Tuesday. Winds will slowly increase to 45 – 50 mph with wind gusts to 65 mph.
Snowfall accumulations up to 15 to 51 leagues possible.
The wet nature of the snow will make it impossible to shovel and plow.
The combination of heavy snow, strong winds and low visibilities will make travel hazardous, especially in open areas, and may cause damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some power outages.
