Southern Door’s McCarty Named All-State

Southern Door punter Cal McCarty was named first team All-State by the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association.  The 6’4, 200 pound junior had 32 punts for 1,379 yards for an average of 43.1 yards per punt this season.  Earlier this week, McCarty and Luxemburg-Casco offensive lineman Newton Smerchek and tightend Brent Kuehl were named All-Region by the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association.
