Cornell Wins K/D Salmon Tourney

Caleb Cornell of Sturgeon Bay has won the 35th annual Kewaunee/Door County Salmon Tournament.  The top five finishers in the tournament all weighed fish over 30 pounds, and all were within a half pound of the winner.  Cornell caught his trophy chinook of 30.51 pounds while fishing with Jonson Krauss near Washington Island on the final Saturday of the tournament.  Cornell said it was their only … Continue reading

Sister Bay All Alone In First Place

Algoma native Mike Bathke has jumped to the top of the leaderboard of the 35th annual KD Salmon Tournament. Bathke hauled in a 30.35 pounder Thursday morning in Algoma.
