Alexander’s Wins Broomball Championship

Alexander’s beat the Cornerstone Pub in a shootout to win the 2015 Hilander Cup in Sister Bay’s Annual Broomball Tournament last Sunday.  Six teams battled for the championship despite the cold and windy conditions. Alexander’s roster includes Patrick Foy, Mike Jarman, Rick Chomeau, Missy Siebolt, Tony Fisher, Sheena Zielke, Steve Chomeau, Ian Chomeau, Zak Gillis and Mike Jaeckel.    

Vikes and Storm in Regular Season Finale

Eagles Rout Tritons

Island Derby Winners Announced


The 38th Annual Lion’s Club Fish Derby finished on Washington Island on Sunday.  No lawyers, whitefish, or walleyes were registered, so the prize money for those species were redistributed to the other categories, raising those prizes. Wolves Conference Winning Streak at 30 Straight

As of Monday (2/16/15) the Northern section of the Door County Snowmobile trails will open.  The Northern section is from Maple Tree Road / Kangaroo Beach Road (Egg Harbor to Baileys Harbor) North to Gills Rock area.
