Southern Door and Luxemburg-Casco competed at the Battle on the Bay Tournament at Bay Port on Saturday.  Freedom won the tournament with Wisconsin Rapids second and the Spartans finished third while the Eagles ended in 11th place.  Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol finished 6th at the Brillion Invitational that was won by Shiocton. Gibraltar Girls Win Kohler Tournament

Gibraltar beat Sheboygan Area Lutheran on Friday Night and Montello on Saturday to win the Kohler Tournament again.  The Vikings beat SAL on Friday 53-30 as Makenna Ash scored 18 points and Helen Hecht added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists.  Kara Caldecott added 10 points in the win.  Gibraltar outscored Montello 31-12 in the second and third quarter on their way to a … Continue reading

Packerland’s Top Teams Roll

The top three teams cruised to wins in girls Packerland Conference games played on Tuesday.  Gibraltar beat Sevastopol 54-13 in Fish Creek.  Lauren Kita led all scorers with 14 points while Helen Hecht added 10 for the Vikings.  Gibraltar led 19-5 at the end of the first quarter and it was 29-7 at halftime.  Jessica Wagner scored 7 points to lead the Pioneers.
