L-C’s Kline Commits to UWGB

Luxemburg-Casco High School standout Marissa Kline  has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Green Bay volleyball program next fall, Phoenix head coach Debbie Kirch announced on Wednesday. She becomes the first member of Green Bay’s signing class of 2013.

A 5-foot-11 setter and right side hitter, Kline led Luxemburg-Casco to the Division 2 sectional finals in late October. The senior finished her career as a unanimous First Team All-Bay Conference selection in 2012, and was also a Third Team All-State and first team all-conference pick as a junior in 2011. She also earned second team honors in the Bay in 2010.

Kline plays club volleyball for the Wisconsin Volleyball Academy, and is a former high school teammate of Phoenix freshman Mikaela Gunderson.
