Injury Bug Bites Wolves Again

For the second year in a row, the Algoma girls basketball team has lost a starter to injury.  Junior forward Kennedy Blahnik suffered a PCL injury in the January 4th game against Gibraltar and is expected to miss the next 6-8 weeks.  Coach Mark Zastrow on how the injury happened…

Zastrow said that Kathy Bluett has moved into the starting lineup and that freshman Anna Dier and Baleigh Delorit are expected to see additional minutes.  The Wolves are currently (10-1) are ranked #1 in the lastest WisSports.net/WBCA Division 4 coaches poll.
