Final Home Game For Badgers

The Wisconsin football team (4-2 Big Ten / 7-3 overall) will close the home portion of their schedule when they host Ohio State (6-0 / 10-0) Saturday afternoon.  This is the final game at Camp Randall Stadium for the seven Badgers (RB Montee Ball, OL Robert Burgee, CB Marcus Cromartie, S Shelton Johnson, CB Devin Smith, LB Mike Taylor and OL Ricky Wagner) and could also be the final game in Madison for QB Curt Phillips and DL Brendan Kelly (both plan to apply to the NCAA for a sixth year of eligibility).  According to head coach Bret Bielema, Senior Day is always difficult…

With two touchdowns, Montee Ball would have 79 in his time at Wisconsin and would break Travis Prentice’s NCAA record.  Ball on what that record would say about him…

Curt Phillips will make his second start at quarterback for the Badgers.   Phillips is looking forward to the opportunity to show what he can do against one of the best teams in the nation…

With last week’s win at Indiana, Wisconsin secured its second straight berth in the Big Ten Championship Game, but the they are actually two games behind Ohio State in the Leaders Division. Junior left guard Ryan Groy knows that the Badgers will have to bring their best effort if they want to hand the Buckeyes their first loss of the season…

Saturday’s game between Wisconsin and Ohio State can be heard on 93.9 FM WDOR.  Coverage begins at 12:30 PM with kickoff from Camp Randall Stadium set for 2:30 PM.
