Washington Island School Board to Start Superintendent Search

A special session has been scheduled for the Washington Island Board of Education Thursday evening to consider the possible hiring of a firm to help in the search for a new superintendent. Current Superintendent Tim Raymond has accepted a similar position with the Cambria/Friesland School District & will be starting his new job at the end of the 2013/14 school year. Beginning at 6PM Thursday, board-members will consider using the services of the cesa-seven search firm. The meeting will be held in the ITV room at the island school. The next regular meeting of the Washington Island Board of Education is Thursday, May 22nd.
