Sturgeon Bay Fire Chief Urges Caution When Burning

With the relative lack of rain in some parts of Door County, especially around Sturgeon Bay & to the south, there are still concerns about the possibility of grass, brush & forest fires. Chief Herlache is asking residents who live in particularly dry areas to use caution when burning. He also reminds residents & visitors that more than one fire happened because of the indiscriminate use of fireworks.
