Sturgeon Bay Dealing With Frozen Pipes

Many communities in northeast Wisconsin have asked residents to run water in their homes to lessen the possibility of watermain breaks, including Algoma & Kewaunee. Sturgeon Bay Alderman Stu Fett, who is a member of the city’s utility commission, reported on the city effort to deal with the effects of a long, cold winter. Fett told the city council Tuesday that some of the areas where watermain failures have been repaired were at 14th Avenue & Egg Harbor Road, 15th Avenue,  & 15th Avenue & Michigan Street…

Fett says the situation is being monitored & the hope is that weather conditions will moderate as we get closer to the beginning of spring.
