Record Breaking Year for United Way

It was another record-breaking year for the fundraising campaign of the United Way of Door County. When the campaign ended on January 7th, the local organization had raised $466,943.50. The amount also represents an increase of $10,000 over the 2011 campaign, which had been the previous record. The United Way’s Amy Kohnle says the funds available will help many more people in 2014…

Don Albert, United Way Volunteer President, thanked the people who invested their time, energy & dollars in the campaign. He said their effort made it possible for thousands of people to benefit in Door County.
