It appears that a tree on a wire was responsible for a disruption in electrical service to residents in an area that included Sister Bay and Baileys Harbor Tuesday morning. Wisconsin Public Service says the power went out for about 930 northern Door County customers shortly after 5AM. Power was restored to most of the affected customers about an hour later.
High lake levels are hampering the effort to complete a wetland as part of the Little Lake restoration project at Sunset Park in Sturgeon Bay.
