County S Road Work Begins in Kewaunee County


The Kewaunee County Highway Department has begun a pavement resurfacing project on County S, from Arlington Avenue on the north side of Algoma, to the Kewaunee/Door County line. The work includes pulverizing the existing pavement, resurfacing & shouldering. Traffic will be detoured onto Highway 42 & onto Door County Highway J. The project is expected to last two to three weeks.

Thefts from Habitat ReStore


The ReStore in Sturgeon Bay offers recycled items at reasonable prices, but they are not free and patrons are asked to shop during regular hours of operation. Someone apparently didn’t get that message. Southern Door Seeks Referendum on Revenue Limit Override


A statement has been issued in light of the decision by the Southern Door Board of Education Monday to schedule a referendum vote on a one-year revenue limit override proposed for the 2015/16 school year. Man Sentenced on Reckless Homicide by Drug Delivery Charge
