Door County Humane Society Awarded Grant


The Door County Humane Society recently was awarded a grant of $13,435 through the Northern Tier Shelter Initiative of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The grant will fund a part-time volunteer coordinator, allowing the society and its animal shelter to expand and formalize its volunteer programming.
