Board of Public Works Approves Egg Harbor Road Work

An upgrade to Egg Harbor Road, planned for this year, has been approved by the Sturgeon Bay Board of Public Works. On Tuesday, Baudhuin, Incorporated, the city’s consultant, was given the go-ahead to complete plans and obtain sealed bids for work expected to cost in the neighborhood of $1.2 million. A certified survey map, creating a lot for the proposed westside waterfront hotel, was approved by the Sturgeon Bay City Council Tuesday. The map, drafted by Baudhuin, Incorporated, is based upon a drawing approved by the city’s waterfront redevelopment authority showing the anticipated location of the hotel.
