The Door County Sheriff’s Department is investigating reports of the theft of several big ticket items in recent weeks. A 2008 Fleetwood Sedona popup camper was stolen from a lot in the Town of Nasewaupee. The camper is 13 feet long with an 8 foot box and a trailer hitch, is off-white with blue stripes. Senior Center Project Moving Forward


A resolution related to the construction of a new senior center in Sturgeon Bay was approved by the Door County Board during its regular meeting Tuesday morning. County Board Approves Zoning Change for Northern Sky Theater Project


The Northern Sky Theater can move ahead with plans to construct a post summer performance center in the Town of Gibraltar now that the Door County Board has agreed to a zoning change recommendation. Four candidates for Sturgeon Bay City Administrator will be interviewed Monday and Tuesday, according to Mayor Thad Birmingham. Peninsula Players Awarded Sustainability Grant


The Peninsula Players Theatre was recently awarded a sustainability grant from the arts fund administered by the Door County Community Foundation. The grant is earmarked for “The Play’s the Thing” program which offers free, off-season, play readings to the public.
