“Pudding” Wins Tales Of Greatness

Cats and kittens at the Door County Humane Society’s animal shelter will be feasting on Purina Pro Plan Cat Food as a result of the organization winning the “Tales Of Greatness” competition sponsored by the Animal Food Company. Carrie Counihan, the Humane Society’s Executive Director, says the story of “Pudding the cat” and how he saved his new owner, Amy Jung, during a diabetic seizure, touched the hearts of thousands who voted online for the Door County Humane Society…
The local effort paid off to the tune of $5,000 in Purina food vouchers, something that will come in handy for the next several months…

Counihan and Jung will fly to Philadelphia to accept the award from Purina officials on Saturday, November 17th. The ceremony takes place in the main ring prior to the start of the Kennel Club of Philadelphia National Dog Show, held in Oaks, Pennsylvania. The program will be broadcast on NBC on Thanksgiving Day.
