One of the ways to gauge how well the tourism season is going in Door County is to check the funds collected by way of the county’s room tax. The 23-person Door County Tourism Zone Commission includes two at-large positions & representatives from the towns of Baileys Harbor, Clay Banks, Egg Harbor, Ephraim, Gardner, Gibraltar, Jacksonport, Liberty Grove, Nasewaupee, Sevastopol, Sister Bay, the City of Sturgeon Bay, & the towns of Union& Washington.
