Door County Humane Society Was All Shook Up

Earlier this week, the animal shelter of the Door County Humane Society shook a bit for short period of time. No, it wasn’t an earthquake. The facility near the Cherryland Airport was feeling the affect of blasting related to the Humane Society’s expansion project. Executive Director Carrie Counihan says the blast is part of the effort to install a foundation and septic system…

Counihan asks visitors to be careful when visiting the animal shelter property during the renovation project…

The $1,200,000 project is expected to be completed in June of next year.
