A $68.6 million Door County budget was approved during the annual budget meeting of the Door County Board Tuesday morning. Based upon criteria set up prior to the budget process, the 2013 budget contains no borrowing, uses all of its levy capacity & protects the county fund balance while transferring almost $434,000 from the “rainy day” fund to offset the tax levy.
