Maritime Museum Event Postponed (1/8/15)

Concern about inclement weather has prompted the Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay to postpone tonight’s (1/8/15) speaker series event until a future date. Wind Chill Advisory In Effect

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a WIND CHILL ADVISORY for the WDOR listening area until 10 AM Saturday (1/10/15) Wind chill values will drop to 20 to 30 below zero and continue into Saturday morning.  Wind chills this low can cause frostbite in 20 minutes.

Dense Fog Advisory In Effect

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a DENSE FOG ADVISORY, which is in effect until 7am Tuesday, for the counties of Door, Kewaunee and Manitowoc. Dense fog will result in visibilities below 1/4 mile at times through Monday evening. Visibilities could drop as low as a few hundred feet in some locations. The reduced visibilities will result in hazardous travel conditions.

NWS Issues Winter Storm Warning

The National Weather Service Office in Green Bay has issues a WINTER STORM WARNING for Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Brown, Shawano, Outagamie, Calumet, Menominee and southern Oconto Counties.  The warning is in effect until 6AM Tuesday.  Four to seven inches are expected and will create slick roads, streets and sidewalks.
