Kewaunee To Play Lancaster In Semifinals

Two Kewaunee County Runners Finish Fourth

Whitney Ebert of Algoma finished fourth in the Division 3 race at the WIAA State Cross Country Meet Saturday while Luxemburg-Casco’s Lisa Baeten was fourth in the Division 2 race.  Ebert finished the race at Wisconsin Rapids in 15:21.68.  Her teammate Kayden Robertson finished 48th (16:33.52). Kewaunee Advances, Gibraltar Victorious At Jamboree

Sectional Cross Country Results And Area State Qualifiers

Sectional meets were held in cross country Saturday.  The Luxemburg-Casco boys finished fifth at a Division 2 meet at Kiel.  The Southern Door boys were 12th.  Luxemburg-Casco’s Kyle Sampo was eighth.  The Luxemburg-Casco girls finished third behind Green Bay Notre Dame and Two Rivers.  The Southern Door girls were eighth while Sturgeon Bay finished 15th.  Luxemburg-Casco’s Lisa Baeten finished third.
