Island Derby Winners Announced

The 38th Annual Lion’s Club Fish Derby finished on Washington Island on Sunday.  No lawyers, whitefish, or walleyes were registered, so the prize money for those species were redistributed to the other categories, raising those prizes. Wolves Conference Winning Streak at 30 Straight

Partial Opening of Snowmobile Trails

As of Monday (2/16/15) the Northern section of the Door County Snowmobile trails will open.  The Northern section is from Maple Tree Road / Kangaroo Beach Road (Egg Harbor to Baileys Harbor) North to Gills Rock area. Eagles With Three Regional Champs

Southern Door had three champions at the WIAA Division 2 regional championship on Saturday.  River Pawelski, Michael Bertrand and Mitchell Overbeck all won titles for the Eagles and Tory Jandrin also advanced to Individual Sectionals.  Luxemburg-Casco’s Josh VandeHei, Cullen Ducat and Dalton Smerchek won regional titles while Cammeron Lemmens and Devan Vandenbush, Mason Berceau, Seth Peters also advanced to Sectionals at Oconto Falls on Saturday. … Continue reading
