DCL Wins All Star Game

It took 13 innings, but the Door County League All-Stars beat the Shoreland All-Stars 1-0 in Denmark last night.  David Van Dreese scored the winning run and totaled 2 hits for the game while Sawyer Johnson had 2 hits and made a diving catch in centerfield in the 8th inning that likely saved a couple of runs.  Nick Kita doubled for the winners. Bays Win Again

McCambridge, Christiansen and Lautenbach Win National Titles

The Door County Strivers Gymnastics Team returned from the YMCA Gymnastics Nationals in Wichita, Kansas with three National Champions.  MaKaila McCambridge won her title with a Level 6 vault of 9.375, Kendall Christiansen won gold with a Level 3 vault of 9.40 while Laci Lautenbach won the X-Cel Silver floor exercise with a score of 9.60.                 Full … Continue reading

Dier Verbally Commits to UW-Green Bay

YMCA Gymnastics Nationals This Week

Nine gymnasts from the Door County YMCA Strivers Team will be heading to Wichita, Kansas for the 2015 YMCA National Gymnastics Championships.
